Scarlette Rising is the artistic musical wind of one woman, Tonya Taylor. Growing up in a home engulfed in an array of music, Tonya began writing and performing music at the age of 10. Life was filled with many obstacles and many losses of loved ones. During her teenage and early adult years, her love for God, family, music, sports, and academic studies kept her mind and spirit uplifted.

Known for a gothic twist of combining Rock, Pop, Electric, Metal, and R&B into her music, Tonya expresses the darker side of the pain in her life but with a ray of hope and light.
